Left Hand x Meanforme Saragozza Shoe Tobacco

Sale price£300.00

The first Left Hand footwear collaboration, the Saragozza is created with Meanforme and takes its name from the Saragozza district of Bologna, birthplace of Massimo Osti and Left Hand. The distinctive fringed upper references a 1993 Left Hand Micro jacket from our archive, translating its raw-cut construction into a contemporary footwear silhouette.

Handcrafted in Northern Portugal from heavyweight Sciarada Castoro reverse calf suede, produced in Tuscany, the Saragozza combines exceptional materials with traditional shoemaking. A 5mm natural Malaysian latex crepe sole provides cushioning underfoot, while traditional Bologna construction removes the need for a rigid insole board, creating a softer, more flexible and almost sock-like feel. A shoe rooted in the Left Hand archive, reinterpreted through material, craft and contemporary design.

TRADITIONAL BOLOGNA CONSTRUCTION

TRADITIONAL BOLOGNA CONSTRUCTION

Handcrafted in Northern Portugal, the Saragozza brings together exceptional materials and traditional shoemaking. The upper is cut from heavyweight Sciarada Castoro reverse calf suede, produced in Tuscany, and sits on 5mm natural Malaysian latex crepe.

Traditional Bologna construction removes the need for a conventional rigid insole board, creating a softer, more flexible, almost sock-like structure - a considered combination of Italian material, specialist construction and generations of Portuguese craftsmanship.
